Cultural Engagement and Ephesians 5:12: Are there some things we shouldn't talk about?

Carl Trueman has written an article on Ephesians 5:11-14 where Paul says that we shouldn't talk about certain things as it is shameful to do so. I've thought about this verse a lot and am still wrestling through what it means for cultural engagement.
